How to set up configurations for Taxi Butler Guest QR
Configurations for Taxi Butler Guest QR can be set up just like any other device, with the option to customise the branding on the device interface. Ensure that Guest QR is enabled for your PORTAL account
Before proceeding, please ensure that Taxi Butler Guest QR is enabled for your Taxi Butler PORTAL account.
Please contact sales to have Taxi Butler Guest QR enabled on your PORTAL account.

Find a venue to generate Guest QR for
You can either generate a Taxi Butler Guest QR code by creating a new venue or generate one for an existing venue.Find the venue you want to generate the Guest QR code for. To do so, head over the Venues page and search for the venue using the search bar or find it in the list of venues.Click on the name of the venue you’d like to continue with to open the Venue page.
The Guest QR code will be configured with the venue’s address as the pick-up point.

Generate the Guest QR code for a venue
From the Venue page, click on the “Taxi Butler QR(s) at venue” tab.Next, click on the “Add QR to venue” button in the top-right.The PORTAL will now prompt you to generate a QR for this venue.Enter a name for the Guest QR code, select if the QR code should be live or not, and click on “Save”.
You can generate multiple Guest QR codes to the same venue. This is useful if you want a QR code in the hotel lobby and QR codes in the hotel rooms.
Make sure to give a clear name to your QR code. A name like “Hilton lobby” or “Hilton rooms” is easier to recognise later.

Download the Guest QR code
Finally, press on “Download” to save the QR code as a

The “Taxi Butler QR(s) at venue” tab is where you can manage Taxi Butler Guest QR codes for each venue. You can edit, remove or download a Guest QR code from this page.How to edit a Guest QR code
Editing a Guest QR code simply gives you the option to make the QR code ‘live” or not. Making a QR code “live” means that the QR code will be active and usable. If you choose to make the “live” setting “No”, the QR code that have out in the field will no longer work. You can make it “live” again at your discretion.How to remove a Guest QR code
Removing a Guest QR code deletes the QR code permanently. Any QR codes that you have out in the field will no longer work permanently. You cannot undo this action. To remove a Guest QR code, simply click on “Remove QR” and confirm.How to download a Guest QR code
For your Taxi Butler Guest QR code to be used by guests inside venues, you will need to download the QR code and get it printed on various materials. To download a Guest QR code, simply click on “Download” and choose a location on your computer to save it. The QR code will be saved as apng file.
