Setting up default device configurations & options

You can set default device configurations & options for new venues in the PORTAL. Each time a new venue is created, these default configurations will be applied automatically. Existing venues will remain as they are, you can still update them manually though. If you already have many venues in the PORTAL, you can define the default configurations now and choose to apply them to your existing venues as well. To configure your default configurations, simply:
  1. Head over to the “Company Settings” page by using the main navigation
  2. Click on “Edit” at the top or bottom of the page
  3. Scroll down to the various sections for editing configurations & options for each Taxi Butler device type:
    1. “Default Taxi Butler ONE settings”
    2. “Default Taxi Butler PRO settings”
    3. “Default Taxi Butler QR settings”
    4. “Default Taxi Butler PLUS settings”
    5. “Default Taxi Butler KIOSK settings”
The settings listed above depend on which types of devices you have and which ones are activated for your PORTAL. Learn more about device configurations & options for the different devices.
To import default settings on an existing venues, simply go to the desired venue, press “Edit” then scroll down and press on “Import default values”.

Updating your company logo on devices

Your logo can be shown on the home screen of your devices. During the onboarding process, you can upload your logo file to be shown on-screen. To add or update your logo, please contact support.

Updating your display name on devices

Your taxi company’s name can also be displayed on the screen of your devices. To add or update your company display name, please contact support.

Theming the interface with your colours

You can theme the interfaces for your devices and for Taxi Butler Guest QR to match your brand colours. To change the theming for the Taxi Butler PRO, PLUS and KIOSK, please contact support. For Taxi Butler Guest QR, you can change the theming yourself for each venue.
