Accepting payments

To start accepting contactless payments on your Taxi Butler devices with Taxi Butler PAY, you must be onboarded by our team.
To get onboarded to Taxi Butler PAY, please contact our sales team.
Onboarding constists of confirming some business details with our team, completing the Know Your Customer (KYC) business verification process with our payment processor and configuring your devices in the PORTAL.

Confirming business details

Before your start the KYC business verification process, you need to share information about your business with us. You’ll need to share & confirm information like:
  • Your legal business trading name
  • Your business’ registered address & country
  • Your business’ phone number
  • A link to your business’ website
  • A link to your terms & conditions
This information is then handed over to our payment process for the next step.

KYC business verification process

You’ll receive a unique link from us that directs you to our payment processor’s business verification process. This process includes checking your personal and company details, uploading identification documents, verifying bank details and signing a service agreement.
The approval, verifications and checks of this information, data and documents are handled entirely by our payment processor. Taxi Butler does not see, store or process this information.

Configuring devices

As soon as the business verification process is complete, we’ll be notified by our payment processor and activate Taxi Butler PAY for your company on the PORTAL. As with all of your devices, they will need to be configured in the Taxi Butler PORTAL.
