How to book a taxi

Press the button to start booking

Tb Docs Fleets Kiosk Book 1 PnTo start a booking, guests should press the on-screen “Book taxi now” button.
Guests can be anyone who are visiting a hotel, bar, restaurant or any other public business in which the device is placed and used to book taxis by the guests themselves.

Enter booking and guest details

Tb Docs Fleets Kiosk Book 2 PnGuests must use the touchscreen to enter all the required and/or optional guest details that are configured for the device.
When a “Passenger phone” is required, a guest’s actual phone number must be entered, otherwise they will not receive the text message with a link to track, manage and cancel the booking and a link to the terms & conditions.

Choose a payment method

Tb Docs Fleets Kiosk Book 3 PnIf required, guests must choose a payment option to continue with the booking.
Depending on how the device has been configured, you can configure various payment methods.

The guest's booking is confirmed!

Tb Docs Fleets Kiosk Book 4 PnThe device will print a confirmation ticket for the guest. The ticket contains a QR code to the Mobile Booking Tracker, a booking reference, and other details.By scanning the QR code on the ticket or on the screen, the guest will be taken to the Mobile Booking Tracker where they can track, manage and cancel their taxi, find applicable terms & conditions and contact the transportation provider. In some cases, the guest will also receive an SMS with a link to the Mobile Booking Tracker.

How to track a booking

To track taxis, passengers can scan the QR code on the printed ticket that takes them to the Mobile Booking Tracker on their mobile phone. From this interface, passengers can track, manage and cancel their taxi, find application terms & conditions and contact the transportation provider. The taxi tracking QR code will also appear as soon as the booking is confirmed on-screen.

How to manage bookings

With the Taxi Butler KIOSK, bookings must be managed by passengers themselves with the Mobile Booking Tracker. They can easily manage their booking by scanning the QR code on screen at the end of the booking or on the printed ticket.

How to power-on & off the device

To power on the device, press the power button with the blue LED on the back of the device when the device is OFF. To power off the device, press the power button with the blue LED on the back of the device when the device is ONE.

How to open the hidden menu

The menu on the Taxi Butler KIOSK is hidden on purpose to avoid guests accessing advanced device settings. To open the hidden menu, simply tap the top-left corner of the screen 5 times.

How to connect the device to a Wi-Fi or ethernet network

To connect the Taxi Butler KIOSK to the internet using the ethernet port, simply plug in an ethernet cable into the port on the back of the device. To connect to Wi-Fi, access the hidden menu as explained above, then press on “Wi-Fi settings” at the bottom of the menu. You can select a network and enter the correct password to connect.

How to change the device language

To change the interface language, the guest can simply choose from the available languages presented on the home screen.

  • Only plug the power adapter into its corresponding AC socket.
  • Do not use the device in environments with explosive gases.
  • Do not disassemble the equipment. It must be serviced or recycled by iMin or an authorized service provider.
  • This is a Grade B product and may cause radio interference or affect medical devices. Users may need to take practical measures to reduce potential interference with radios, televisions, and other electronic devices.
Battery replacement
  • Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself. Doing so may damage the battery, which could cause overheating, fire, or injury.
  • Used or replaced batteries must be disposed of in accordance with local environmental laws and guidelines. Do not throw the battery into fire.
  • Batteries must be serviced or recycled by the manufacturer or an authorised service provider and must not be disposed of with household waste.

  • Damage resulting from misuse, lack of maintenance, or exposing the device to unsafe conditions as specified in this manual.
  • Problems caused by third-party parts or components not provided or approved by us. Modifying or altering the device without our consent is not permitted.
  • Issues resulting from using unofficial ROMs or modifying system files through hacking. This may lead to instability, malfunction, or security risks.

  • Do not expose the device to moisture, dampness, or wet weather (e.g., rain, snow, or fog).
  • Do not use the device in extremely hot or cold environments, such as near fire or lit cigarettes.
  • Do not drop, throw, or bend the device.

  • Do not install or use the device during thunderstorms or lightning, as this could result in electric shock, injury, or death.
  • If you notice an unusual odor, overheating, or smoke, immediately disconnect the power.
